Vancouver – Bravo Venture Group (BVG-V) extended silver and gold mineralization about 150 metres to the southeast in the silver zone of its Homestake property.
In hole 146 Bravo hit 4 metres grading 1689.6 grams silver per tonne and 10.6 grams gold per tonne at a depth below surface of about 200 metres.
The intercept was 70 metres southeast and down dip of a 4 metre interval in hole 137 grading 193.5 grams silver and 6.9 grams gold.
The silver zone is about 400 metres southeast of the Homestake main zone where Bravo has defined a significant area of primarily gold mineralization.
The drillhole intercepts were part of a 34 hole drilling campaign for which Bravo is awaiting results from 20 drillholes. Bravo drilled ten holes in the silver zone, 20 holes in the main zone and four holes elsewhere on the property.
The bonanza silver grade in hole 146 looks to have caught the eyes of investors. On news of the intercept Bravo’s shareprice jumped 6.5¢ to close at 46.5¢. The company has about 119 million shares outstanding.
On the same day that Bravo released the drillhole results, it also announced a two-part $7.7 million non-brokered private placement.
The 27-sq.-km Homestake property is 35 km southeast of Stewart, B. C.
