An agreement has been signed with an international mining company to acquire a 55% interest in an advanced-stage porphyry copper-gold property in Indonesia, Bre-X Minerals (ASE) reports.
The Taware Valley prospect is situated on Sangihe Island, North Sulawesi. Bre-X has not identified its partner.
A month-long field program is planned by Bre-X to commence Sept. 1, to be followed by 2,000 metres of drilling.
