Brimstone planning work on Mayflower

Brimstone Gold (VSE) is raising funds to explore the historic Mayflower gold mine project near Whitehall, Mont.

A private placement of up to 2 million special warrants at 45 cents each will give the junior about $100,000; the company is acquiring a 50% interest in the project for said amount.

The mine was discovered in the 1890s and later became part of the Anaconda Company holdings. Historic production exceeds 200,000 oz. gold from ore grading more than 1 oz. per ton.

Brimstone plans to evaluate the property’s potential along strike and at depth, relative to the historic mining areas.
