Calgary-based Canu Resources and Ican Resources of Vancouver have

an amalgamation into a new company operating under the name Ican Minerals. The purpose of the merger is to consolidate the two companies’ interests in the Blue Dog and Almaden mine properties in Idaho, and to expedite development of these properties. Each company now owns a 50% working interest in these prospects.

Recent drilling on the Almaden property has discovered a new mineralized area designated as the K-Zone. The zone has been traced for more than 1,200 ft in length by 32 reverse circulation rotary holes. The deposit is exposed on the surface and extends 60 to 180 ft below ground where tested. The best intersection was 60 ft grading 0.063 oz gold per ton.
