Canadian States reports results

CDN-listed Canadian States Resources has encountered low-grade nickel-copper-cobalt mineralization on the 1514M Claim Block in Labrador.

One of the five additional holes tested the G zone, while the remainder probed the E zone.

Hole DDH 95-8 was drilled to test a broad max-min electromagnetic (EM) anomaly 165 metres north of the G zone discovery hole. This hole intersected massive and semi-massive sulphide mineralization, including a 2.47-metre interval that averaged 0.55% nickel, 0.48% copper and 0.09% cobalt. Consultants are completing a pulse EM survey before Canadian States tests the target at depth. The company plans to complete an additional 10 holes in this zone.

Meanwhile, four short holes have been drilled in an effort to test the five airborne EM conductors that constitute the E zone. The holes intersected varying thicknesses of disseminated, massive sulphides. Assays are listed below.

The results have prompted Canadian States Resources, formerly known as Canadian States Oil & Gas, to expand its drill program and continue drilling the property through the winter.
