Cartaway poised to drill in Labrador

Sapphires in the south and nickel-copper-cobalt farther north represent the commodities being sought in Labrador by Cartaway Resources (cwa-a).

The junior has established a camp and started a program of sampling and reconnaissance exploration at the Cirque property, some 85 km northwest of the Voisey’s Bay deposit, and at the BR-E property, 90 km south of the major nickel find.

Drills are positioned on both properties, with work scheduled to begin shortly. Meanwhile, stones are being stripped and sampled at the sapphire prospect.

Exploration at the Labrador properties is being financed by a recent, fully subscribed rights offering which raised gross proceeds of $1.8 million.
