Cathedral expands gold zone at Kaburi-Eldorado project

Drilling on the Kaburi-Eldorado property in Guyana is continuing to expand the Hicks zone for owner Cathedral Gold (TSE).

The best result from the latest five holes (94-21 through 94-25) returned 9.8 ft. grading 0.65 oz. gold per ton in Hole 94-25.

To date, Cathedral has drilled 19,265 ft. in 25 holes, with all of the holes intersecting Main zone gold mineralization.

The drilling was done on 330-ft. sections across the established 5,300 ft. of strike, with two 45 holes on each section. The top tier of holes targeted the near-vertical Hicks zone at a depth of about 230 ft., while the second tier intersected the zone 460 ft. below surface.

Stepout drilling is continuing on strike to the south of Hole 94-25 to test the open-ended zone.

A reserve calculation for the zone will require closely spaced drilling and, for the time being, Cathedral plans to concentrate on stepout drilling and further exploration of the property’s other gold zones.

Gregory Thomas, director of investor relations, said trenching results from the Eldorado zone should be available shortly. The company is looking at bringing in a second drill rig to test the zone further.

Cathedral is well-funded with $8.5 million in working capital and 13.3 million shares outstanding (15 million fully diluted).

Significant intersections from the five recent holes are as follows: Hole Width Gold Vertical depth

Mozambique grants

licences to Trillion

The government of Mozambique has granted Trillion Resources (TSE) two reconnaissance licences to explore for gold and base metals. The ground position, exceeding 78,000 hectares, hosts old workings which will be evaluated.

The areas are in the Chifumbazi region of Tete province and the Bragnaca-Chimeze area of Manica province. Present in the former region is a sheared and faulted section, situated at the south end of the African Rift. A finder’s fee of 20,000 Trillion shares will be payable to a private company that will perform logistic and managerial functions.

Westminer Canada has amalgamated with WMC Nickel Sales to form WMC International. Share consolidation is unknown.
