Cathedral picks up Honduran ground

The gold-silver potential of the Lady property in south-central Honduras has attracted the attention of Cathedral Gold (TSE).

The company acquired the property, subject to a 3% net smelter return royalty. The deal itself is subject to a US$6.5 million buy-out.

Preliminary surface exploration confirmed the property has potential for hosting disseminated hotsprings-type gold-silver deposits.

The property contains a northwest-trending structure, and values of initial surface sampling range up to 0.3 oz. gold and 2 oz. silver per ton over 15 ft.

Rock surface sampling returned anomalous gold-silver values for more than 1,500 ft. along strike.

Meanwhile, Cathedral is evaluating several other properties it has acquired in Honduras.
