Central Crude raises funding

A private placement of 6 million special warrants has raised $9.3 million for Central Crude (TSE).

The company, which is changing its name to River Gold Mines, intends to use most of the proceeds to develop its Eagle River gold property near Wawa, Ont. Definition and exploration drilling are set to begin this summer.
