An authority on environmental issues will discuss the North American environmental movement and how it affects the Canadian mining industry at a March 31 noon luncheon in Vancouver, B.C.
Barry Clausen will talk about what the mining community can do to inform the public about its initiatives in the area of environmental protection. The luncheon is sponsored by the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum (CIM).
The event promises to be of interest to all those involved in resource industries, as Clausen had previously infiltrated some of the more radical environmental groups operating in North America.
