Citadel busy with underground work

Citadel Gold Mines remains busy with exploration work on four properties near Wawa, Ont. At the former producing Surluga gold mine, Citadel is drifting and performing underground drilling. This work has extended the mineralized zone upwards from the 5th level.

On the 3rd level, drilling has discovered two mineralized zones near the underground workings of the Jubilee property. At the Minto property, surface drilling cut visible gold at a depth of 584 ft. A modest amount of production came from the Minto from above the 325 ft-level.
