COATS Trading Features (August 10, 1987)

Additional drill results look good from Card Lake Resources’ gold play in Harker Twp, Ont. A 12.5-ft section assayed 0.235 oz gold per ton. The property is located two miles west of the Holt-McDermott mine being built by American Barrick Resources.

Silver Bar Mines has started a 10,000-ft drill program on a prospect south of Kirkland Lake, Ont. The issue was quiet at $3. Winteroad Resources showed some volume as more than 30,000 shares traded this week at $2-$2.50. The company pulled a strong hole from its gold property in Garrison Twp., not far from the Card Lake project. Results included 31.5 ft grading 0.295 oz.

Tyranex Gold is working with partner Mill City on their Tyranite gold property tailings project near Shiningtree, Ont. Tyranex was steady at 90 cents . Chance Mining and Exploration traded as high as $1.45 during the week. Kidd Creek Mines has acquired an 100% interest in the company’s property north of Timmins, Ont. Drilling is planned to start shortly. Chance holds a 10% royalty in the claims.
