COATS Trading Features (January 12, 1987)

Issues on the COATS over-the- counter system were generally listless, with many trading downward. Matt Berry Mines gave up some ground to 35 cents -40 cents . The company, which controls a gold property near Moss Lake, Ont., will see $350,000 spent on the claims by Tandem Resources. Tandem will earn Matt Berry shares on a flow-through share basis for making the expenditure.

Wabigoon Resources was also easier, trading at 60 cents -70 cents . The company has been involved with exploring its Hunter property for several years. The Hunter claims are located near Timmins, Ont., and were partially developed by a shaft in the early 1900s. Puissance Resources, another company with Timmins area claims, also gave up some ground to 40 cents -45 cents .

Mirado Nickel Mines added a few pennies to 48 cents . The company has a royalty on the Mirado property south of Kirkland Lake, Ont. Gold production from the property is scheduled for this year.
