Conquest Yellowknife continues drilling

Alberta-listed Conquest Yellowknife Resources has released results from exploration geophysics and diamond drilling at its Campbell patents, or Smith Lake property in Leeson Twp., in the Renabie area of northern Ontario.

The property adjoins the Renabie mine to the north and the Renabie No 2 shaft lies about 800 ft south of the Conquest boundary.

President Douglas Towers says geophysics indicate that the main north/south shear which traverses both the Canreos Minerals and the Renabie properties continues north for a strike length of 4,200 ft across the Conquest boundary.

Three preliminary diamond drill holes intersected the shear with anomalous gold mineralization. Among the results are 35 ft of 0.018 oz gold per ton and 24 ft of 0.057 oz, including an 11 ft section of 0.108 oz.

Conquest plans to drill this structure at close spacing, says Mr Towers. The first priority is where this north/south shear is intersected by the east/west Frontenac shear.
