Constellation cuts copper at Cashin

Vancouver — Constellation Copper (CCU-V) has tabled assay results for its recent dilling campaign at the Cashin satellite property, Montrose county, Colorado.

The holes were drilled in a fan pattern in order to define the western margin of the Cashin deposit south of La Sal Creek. Constellation reports that no previous significant drill holes exist in this area. Highlights of the results are as follows;

• Drill hole CC-02 cut 90 ft. averaging 0.457% copper, starting 98 ft. down-hole.
• Hole CC-03 cut 351 ft. averaging 0.852% copper, starting 5 ft. down-hole.
• Hole CC-04 cut 207 ft. averaging 0.654% copper, starting from the surface.

Drilling continues with a new fan of holes collared about 100 ft. away. Constellation plans to drill another two fans with similar separations to define the eastern side of the deposit south of La Sal Creek.

Constellation reports that the core was sawed in half, and half of the core was submitted for assaying at BSI Laboratories in Sparks, Nevada. The remaining half of the core will be used for column leach tests at 1.5-inch crush size, the design product for the Lisbon Valley processing facility. Copper in the drill core sampled to date is contained primarily in the minerals malachite and azurite. Chalcocite, neoticite and chrysocolla are also present.
