Drilling on the Anialik-High Lake property in the Northwest Territories is returning massive sulphide intersections for owner Continental Pacific Resources (VSE).
The drilling includes four holes collared on strike to the north from two holes which returned massive sulphide intersections in 1990.
The drilling now covers a strike length of more than 1 km, with one of the better intersections returning 10.44% zinc and 0.56% copper, plus 83.9 grams silver per tonne over 6.29 metres.
The discovery is 10 km south of Coronation Gulf in the northern part of the Territories.
Continental Pacific is constructing a winterized camp at the site and expects to recommence drilling in two weeks.
