Core Energy drops La Ronge option

Vancouver-listed Core Energy Corp. intends to drop its option on the 15,460-acre Conjuring River property, in the La Ronge area of northern Saskatchewan.

The decision follows a 3-hole drilling program, says President Glen Phillips. A total of 890 ft was drilled of the Wilbert showing and the sulphide-rich zone that was located in outcrop was not present in the subsurface.

Numerous other mineralized zones were sampled and assayed with no anomalous gold values located.

The Wilbert showing, as seen on the surface, is very limited in its aerial extent. The remaining portions of this shear zone area have proven to be barren of gold values, says Mr Phillips.
