Corona acquires Prime shares

As part of a recent agreement with Murray Pezim and two associates, Corona (TSE) has acquired 5.6 million shares of Prime Resources Group (VSE). Pezim, Lawrence Page and Arthur Clemiss also granted Corona a right of first refusal and voting trust over any Prime shares they continue to own or subsequently acquire. When combined with its other holdings in Prime, Corona has a current voting interest of 44%, plus share options and warrants.

It also has about a 45% interest (direct and indirect) in Stikine Resources (TSE), which is Prime’s partner at the Eskay Creek project north of Stewart, B.C.
