In our Aug. 17-23 issue, we stated that 47,300 oz. gold was produced from the Canadian mines of River Gold Mines (RIV-T) in the first half of 1998 at a cash cost of US$296 per oz. The correct cash cost was US$148 per oz. The company realized US$296 per oz. for this production.
