Correction (September 15, 1986)

A story last week on Grandview Resources incorrectly stated that of the company’s reserves of 16 million tons averaging 0.046 oz gold, “about one-third of that is quite low grade and when eliminated would raise the average to more than 0.55 oz.” The latter grade figure should have read 0.055 oz per ton. It was also incorrectly stated that a large gold nugget found over 100 years ago on the property weighed 195 troy ounces. It weighed 195 pounds.
