CORRECTION (November 22, 1999)

Our issue of Nov. 8-14 contained incorrect information regarding the price paid by Viceroy Resources (VOY-T) to purchase the 60% interest in the Paradones Amarillos deposit it did not already own.

Echo Bay Mines (ECO-T) relinquished its stake in the project in exchange for an interest in a semi-autogenous grinding mill valued at US$1 million, plus a 2% net profits royalty. The transaction did not involve cash.
