Course examines environmental issues

A 2-day course on exploration and environmental issues is being offered by the British Columbia & Yukon Chamber of Mines, with course content assembled by Norecol Environmental Consultants.

The short course is designed to provide the prospector, explorationist, company principal and management with an understanding of environmental issues, government regulations and permitting requirements with respect to exploration and development in British Columbia.

The list of speakers includes many specialists in the field of environment, regulation and law. The course is offered Feb. 11-12 at the Engineers Club in Vancouver.
