Craibbe-Fletcher vote favors Placer

Minority shareholders of Craibbe-Fletcher Gold Mines (CDN) have voted 89.7% in favor of an amalgamation with a wholly owned subsidiary of Placer Dome (TSE).

Placer controls Craibbe-Fletcher through its 51.2% ownership interest. Craibbe-Fletcher owns 14 claims adjacent to Placer’s producing Campbell gold mine in the Red Lake area of northwestern Ontario.
