Curator proves up project in Baja

Junior International Curator Resources (IC-T) reports satisfactory results from bulk-sampling of its copper-cobalt deposit in Baja California Sur, Mexico.

The results demonstrate that average recoveries of 85% for copper and 75% for cobalt are achievable.

Also, acid consumptions averaged less than 150 kg per tonne of ore, which are expected to translate into low operating costs.

The results are consistant with those obtained from the same samples in bench-scale tests. Projected acid consumptions have decreased by roughly 40% over recent months as leaching conditions have been optimized.

By the end of last year, Curator had completed 466 diamond drill holes in a 40-sq.-km area. The program outlined a geological resource of 374 million tonnes grading 0.96% copper and 0.07% cobalt, based on an arbitrary cutoff grade of 1% copper-equivalent.
