Junior Diadem Resources (DIR-M) has begun drilling on its 5,200-ha Sarah Lake polymetallic property in Quebec.
The diamond drilling program is following up previous surface sample results, which include 0.61 gram gold, 0.64 gram platinum and 0.6 gram palladium per tonne, plus 2.15% copper and 0.3% nickel.
The property shares geological characteristics with the company’s Pekan River copper-nickel-cobalt deposit 7 km to the northwest. In Indonesia, Diadem is involved in 10 programs, including partnerships with Bre-X Minerals and Bresea Resources. There, the company is exploring for alluvial and epithermal gold, as well as zinc-lead-silver and tin-tungsten deposits.
