DIAMOND NEWS ROUNDUP — Partners hunt indicator mineral source

Further diamond exploration is planned for the northern portion of the WO claim block, near Lac de Gras in the Northwest Territories.

The claims are held 40% by Kennecott Canada, 15% by Aber Resources (TSE) and 10% by SouthernEra Resources (TSE). The remaining 35% interest is split equally among Dentonia Resources (VSE), Kettle River Resources (TSE) and Horseshoe Gold Mining (ASE).

Ground geophysics will be used in an attempt to locate the source of a newly discovered indicator mineral dispersion train, northwest of the DO-27 kimberlite pipe. Surveys will follow up airborne electromagnetic responses in the vicinity of eight previously identified kimberlite pipes in the claim’s northern region.
