Ashton Mining of Canada (ACA-T) will examine new indicator mineral targets on the Roundrock property in the Northwest Territories.
Drilling last summer resulted in the discovery of the Aquila diamondiferous kimberlite pipe.
The new program will focus on the extensive JC claim block, which is northwest of the BHP Diamonds and Diavik developments and south of the Jericho deposit.
Ashton will also explore new targets on the Cross property, where another diamondiferous pipe was uncovered.
Meanwhile, in the Ungava region of northern Quebec, a reconnaissance program of heavy mineral sampling will continue.
The company, which is 62%-owned by Ashton Mining of Australia, has $9.5 million in its treasury.
