DIAMOND PAGE — Cypango Ventures recovers Yamba Lake diamonds

A series of sample batches from the newly discovered T-10 kimberlite in the central portion of the Yamba Lake property in the Northwest Territories yielded six macrodiamonds (exceeding 0.5 mm in at least one dimension) and 62 micros from a representative 83.6 kg of kimberlite core.

A series of drill holes into T-10 has determined the kimberlite to be a small diatreme pipe consisting of at least four separate phases. A 5-kg sample from one of the phases returned 3 macros and 36 micros, representing more than half of the diamonds recovered from the entire 83.6-kg sample.

Cypango Ventures (CAV-V) can earn an initial 51% interest in the Yamba Lake property from partners Mill City Gold Mining

(MIY-V) and Tanqueray Resources (TQY-A) by spending $5 million on exploration. The interest can be increased to 70% by completing a feasibility study.

Cypango is currently drilling a series of four targets, defined by indicator mineral dispersion trains and geophysical surveys in the central portion of the property.

Heavy mineral sampling and geophysical surveying are continuing in the immediate vicinity of the T-10 pipe, as well as in the areas of the T-49 and T-60 mineral trains in the west-central and southwestern portions of the property.
