DIAMOND PAGE — Diagem tests property

Determined to find the kimberlite source of alluvial diamonds found on the Chapada property in Brazil’s Mato Grosso state, Diagem International Resource (DGM-V) has begun drilling selected targets.

The Vancouver-based junior holds a 50% interest in the 11,000-ha property, situated 30 km west of the town of Juina. The balance is held by Brazilian-based Mineracao e Comercio de Diamantes Juina-MT.

Of the 41 prospective anomalies identified from geophysical surveys, 14 targets have been selected for testing. The program, which combines reverse-circulation and core drilling, is expected to last two months.
