From the results of a mini-bulk drill sample, the DO-18 pipe on the WO claim block in the Lac de Gras area of the Northwest Territories appears to be uneconomic.
A 6.9-tonne sample yielded an undisclosed amount of diamonds weighing 0.1 carat in total, for a grade of 0.015 carat per tonne.
The WO claims are held 40% by Kennecott Canada, 35% by DHK Resources, 15% by Aber Resources (ABZ-T) and 10% by SouthernEra Resources (SUF-T). Ownership of DHK is shared equally by Dentonia Resources (DTA-V), Horseshoe Gold Mining (HSX-A) and Kettle River Resources (KRR-T).
