DIAMONDS — Buffalo finds calling card

A recent sampling program by Buffalo Diamonds (BUFD-C) has unearthed more diamond indicator minerals at the Calling Lake and Vaarlaam properties, 50 km north of Athabasca, Alta.

To date, the junior has recovered sixty-six G10 garnets from samples collected at the two properties. The company says the variety, quantity, morphology and localized nature of the diamond indicator minerals suggest they came from a nearby diamond-bearing kimberlite source.

Buffalo Diamonds also completed an airborne magnetic survey over the properties. This work is reported to have identified numerous anomalies and associated structures within the target areas.

Buffalo Diamonds plans to drill its kimberlite targets this fall and through the winter. The priority targets are the newly discovered airborne anomalies and structures associated with the anomalous quantities of G10 garnets and other indicators on the properties.
