Drilling on the Minoro property in Honduras is returning copper-gold values for partners Tombstone Explorations (TSE), Champion Resources (VSE) and Mar-West Resources (VSE).
Champion is earning half of Tombstone’s 80% interest in the property while Mar-West retains a 20% working interest.
Initial work has focused on the Tatanacho skarn zone, where drilling outlined an area measuring 150 by 280 metres. The zone is open to the southeast, the southwest and the west.
Drilling is now testing the southwestern extent of the zone, towards another skarn zone called the Montecielo. Drilling on the Montecielo by previous operators returned values of up to 1.45% copper and 1.9 grams gold over 120 metres.
