Permits have been granted for a 10-hole program on the Matthews gold project, under option to Consolidated Ramrod Gold (TSE).
The property lies within an area of gold-bearing reefs which are also host to the Cannon Gold mine in Chelan Cty., Wash.
Previous drilling outlined a zone of strong gold mineralization over a 600×2,500-ft. area. The drilling will attempt to delineate the zone further and define areas having the greatest gold mineralization.
Of the previous 37 holes on the property, the following results showed the best continuity between depths of 1,500 and 2,500 ft.:
