Vancouver — Drilling by Cypress Development (CYP-V) will test 12 polymetallic targets on the Poly property near Stewart in northwestern British Columbia.
The early-stage project comprises three areas of alteration and gold-silver mineralization with associated minor base metals (copper-lead-zinc) called Highway Zone Creek, Middle Creek and East Creek.
The targets have been delineated over an 800-metre strike length that remains open to the south and north. The first-phase, 6-hole program will test strong induced-polarization chargeability anomalies. The best targets will be further tested by a second-phase program of six holes, if warranted.
Cypress can earn a 51% interest in the property from Lateegra Resources (LEG-V) and Geofine Exploration Consultants by spending $825,000 over four years.
Previous exploration included the collection of 48 rock samples, which returned gold grades of at least 2 grams, with average grades of 13.26 grams gold and 632.5 grams silver per tonne, plus 0.29% copper, 0.25% lead and 0.54% zinc.
