Drills turning at Lewis Ponds

Toronto-listed Tri Origin Exploration has completed two drill holes and four wedged holes on its Lewis Ponds property in New South Wales, Australia.

Hole 32, north of the deposit, intersected a 41-metre interval with disseminated sulphide mineralization. This included a 19-metre section that assayed 0.7 grams gold and 41 grams silver per tonne, 0.17% copper, 0.85% lead and 1.94% zinc.

Hole 31, south of the deposit, intersected massive sulphide mineralization that was terminated by a fault. The 3-metre intersection averaged 1.56 grams gold and 158 grams silver, 0.16% copper, 2.55% lead and 4.51% zinc. Results from the drilling indicate the mineralized zone may extend farther north and south of the deposit.

Additional exploration and delineation drilling will begin in late September. Preliminary metallurgical and mining engineering studies are in progress.
