East zone on Mooseland bet better than west, Acadia

The eastern zone of Acadia Mineral Ventures’ Mooseland property in Nova Scotia is shaping up to be very interesting.

Based on the most recent drill results, the zone is beginning to show better continuity, higher grades and greater widths than ore- grade material already delineated from surface drilling on the western zone, according to exploration manager Avard Hudgins.

Reserves on the western zone have been conservatively estimated at 645,000 tons at a grade of 0.24 oz gold per ton over a width of 5 ft.

While assays for many drill core intersections were not available at presstime, a preliminary estimate by Mr Hudgins, based on drilling done so far, indicates the east zone is about 6.3 ft wide and grades about 0.61 oz. Three holes suggest the zone stretches for a distance of 800-1,000 ft. In-fill drilling will be necessary to confirm this but the potential for large tonnage here appears good.

Two drills are working on the property which is being optioned to Acadia by a private Nova Scotia company called Tri-Ex. This company will retain a 3% net smelter interest in the property once Acadia meets the terms of the deal.

Assay results recently recieved include:

Hole Intersection Assay

(ft) (oz/ton)

8 18.77 0.26

incl. 4.92 0.62

10 8.00 0.13

14 5.48 0.46

20 6.86 1.26

The deepest intersection was obtained from a vertical depth of 500 ft.
