Eastmain and others have spent $3.3 m

More than $3.3 million has been spent by Westmin Resources and joint venture partners Eastmain Resources and MSV Resources on their East Main River properties since 1983. The area is located in northern Quebec.

Eastmain was formed by Brandy Brook Mines and Key Lake Mines to hold their interest in the joint venture. Key Lake and Brandy Brook hold a combined 51.8% interest in Eastmain.

The joint venture holds eight permits totalling 74,950 ha covering a strike length of 168 km. Eastmain has a 33.33% stake in two permits and 49% in three others. The company also holds interests ranging from 33.33%-49% in the remaining three permit areas.
