Eden Roc boosting daily throughput

Heap leaching at the Ivory Coast, West Africa, property of Eden Roc Mineral (TSE) has produced 5,785 oz. gold bullion to date, the company reports.

Bullion contains 95-97% gold. The operation started at a rate of 550 tons per day and is aiming for 880 tons per day by year-end. Output will consequently increase from 1,125 oz. per month to an expected 1,600 oz. in November.

Mine production to date is 93,000 tons grading 0.13 oz. gold per ton. Nine short diamond drill holes extended the Anuiri ore zone 400 ft. northeast and 130 ft. southwest. Total strike length now delineated is 2,300 ft. Proven and probable reserves workable by open pit have increased to 735,000 tons. The zone is open both along strike and downdip. One of the drill holes assayed 0.19 oz. over 16.4 ft., and another cut 0.38 oz. over 32.8 ft.
