Encouraging results from Greenstone’s B.C. gold property

Joint venture partners Dragoon Resources (VSE) and Greenstone Resources (TSE) have intersected some encouraging gold values on their property 25 miles south of Cranbrook, B.C. The best intersections from the 6-hole program include true widths of 18.5 ft. grading 0.29 oz. gold per ton and 6.3 ft. grading 0.25 oz. per ton within a silicified structure.

Designed to test a gold-bearing zone outlined in trenches for 5,300 ft., the program focused on a 345-ft. strike length. The partners say the zone is up to 70 ft. wide and has been traced to a depth of 1,400 ft.

The partners believe that other parallel structures on the property may contain similar mineralization. About 100 ft. to the east of the recently drilled zone, a parallel structure returned a 6.1-ft. channel sample grading 0.39 oz. gold.

The Greenstone-Dragoon joint venture has staked or acquired a controlling interest in nearly 50,000 acres around the gold showing, covering 17 miles of what the partners call the main zone. Encouraged by the recent results, the joint venture will expand the current program to include 40 holes before the end of the year.
