Entre Gold gets high-grade at Copper Flats

Vancouver – Drilling by Ivanhoe Mines (IVN-T) on Entre Gold’s (ETG-V) southern Mongolian Copper Flats project has tied into significant copper and gold mineralization.

Ivanhoe’s drill program stepped across its property boundary confirming extension of the Hugo North deposit onto Entre’s adjacent ground to the north.

Drill hole EGD006 intersected 258 metres (from 992 metres down-hole depth) grading 2.6% copper and 1.2 grams gold per tonne, including 138 metres of 4% copper and 1.7 grams gold, with an even higher grade section of 28 metres of 5.5% copper and 4.2 grams gold.

Ivanhoe has seven drill rigs on Entre Gold’s project where it is earning up to an 80% interest in a 400 sq. km section of the Shivee Tolgoi (Lookout Hill) project by spending US$35 million.

Ivanhoe Mines’ Hugo Dummett deposits have a calculated 1.2 billion tonne inferred resource grading 1.3% copper and 0.23 grams gold using a 0.6% copper equivalent cut-off grade. The deposits form the major portion of the Oyu Tolgoi project, which consists of a more than 6 km long complex of copper and gold deposits.
