EXPLORATION 1997 — Tandem drills hit kimberlite in Ontario

A section of kimberlite was intersected by Tandem Resources (TDM-M) while drilling a gold target at its Guibord Twp. property east of Matheson, Ont.

The company says the kimberlite was obtained at 365.5 ft. and continued for 158.8 ft. It contained both garnets and chrome diopsides, which are kimberlite indicator minerals. Samples will be sent to a diamond testing laboratory for analysis.

Drilling is continuing at the property in order to test the extent of the kimberlite body.
