EXPLORATION 1998 – NEWS ROUNDUP — Expatriate adds to Yukon holdings

Expatriate Resources (EXR-V) has added to its extensive mineral holdings in the Yukon Territory by negotiating an agreement to acquire a 60% interest in seven groups of mineral claims in either the Watson Lake or Mayo mining districts.

To earn the interest from NDU Resources (NDU-V), Expatriate must pay $100,000 and spend four times that amount on exploration by the year 2000.

The claims cover “potential shear-hosted nickel occurrences indicated by geochemical exploration.” Expatriate already is exploring for base metals in the Finalyson Lake region.
