EXPLORATION 1999 – More drilling planned for Stog’er Tight

Ming Minerals plans to drill the Stog’er Tight gold project in order to gain a better understanding of its grade, continuity, strike and depth potential. The junior is owned 70% by Eastern Meridian Mining (EME-A).

Situated in Newfoundland’s Baie Verte region, Stog’er Tight was purchased from a major company in the summer of 1996.

A subsequent program of exploration and bulk-sampling showed that mineralization was contained in several lenses, rather than one continuous zone.

Once results from this year’s drilling are in hand, Ming will decide whether or not to proceed with exploration. The project is near a dormant mill owned by the company.
