Exploration ’87 set for Toronto

Exploration ’87, otherwise known as the “Third Decennial International Conference on Geophysical and Geochemical Exploration for Minerals and Groundwater”, has attracted a distinguished slate of the world’s top mineral exploration experts, ready to share their knowledge.

The conference, first held in Niagara Falls in 1967, then in Ottawa in 1977, will be held Sept 27-Oct 1 this year at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre (beside the CN Tower) in downtown Toronto.

The five plenary sessions planned will cover the role of exploration in resource development, exploration in the next decade, the roles and achievements of national and international programs in natural resources development, the coming role of modern computer- based methodologies in exploration and several integrated case histories.
