As uranium spot prices continue to climb and hit US$86.35 per lb. in late-December while demand for the energy metal increases, exploration is heating up in Canada’s uranium hotspot of the Athabasca Basin in Saskatchewan. Here’s a glimpse of the more than $285.2 million worth of bought deal and equity financings by Canadian explorers in the basin this year.
