Vancouver – Drilling destined to update the resource estimate for Explorator Resources’ (EXO-V) El Espino project, a 3.5 hour drive north of Santiago, Chile, continues to produce consistent grades.
Some of the better intercepts grade between 0.64% to 1.63% copper and 0.07 and 0.55 gram gold per tonne over 13 to 109-metre-long intercepts.
For example Hole 264 hit 109 metres grading 0.82% copper and 0.08 gram gold starting 70 metres downhole and hole 280 cut 42 metres grading 1.65% copper and 0.28 gram gold starting 135 metres downhole.
Explorator plans on using the results to upgrade its resource estimate. Explorator has so far pegged the indicated oxide resource at 11.1 million tonnes grading 0.63% copper and 0.17 gram gold.
On news of the drill results Explorator’s share price held even at 22¢. It has about 55 million shares issued.
