A $150,000 diamond drilling program to test geophysical anomalies for their precious metal potential is under way by First General Mining Management and Gold Corp. in Stover Twp., Ont.
The exploration program is on a group of 483 claims and two fractions optioned from Conquest Yellowknife Resources located at the eastern limit of the belt of volcanics and sediments that extends westward through the Wawa area.
Vancouver-listed First General has raised $300,000 from a private placement of 500,000 units at a price of 60 cents per unit. Each unit was comprised of one common share, one flow-through share and one warrant to purchase a common share at any time within one year at a price of 40 cents per share.
