First KWG pour from Granada

The first gold brick was poured this month from 3,680 tons of material from the Granada property near Rouyn-Noranda, Que.

KWG Resources (ME), which has been custom-milling ore from the No. 1 zone, plans to resume stripping of the No. 2 zone so as to gain access to reserves amenable to open-pit mining.

Under way is a $1.7-million exploration program involving 31,000 ft. of drilling both east and west, along the strike of the mineralized zones.
