Fjordland set to begin Greenland diamond hunt

Fjordland Minerals (FML-V) is preparing to begin a helicopter-supported till-sampling program in Greenland.

The Vancouver-based junior intends to focus on 24 areas where last year’s reconnaissance sampling program turned up kimberlite indicator minerals.

Airborne geophysical surveys over selected targets are planned for later this summer. A preparation lab in Nuuk will initially process the till samples to produce a rough concentrate, which will be flown to Canadian labs for detailed analysis. Funding of the sampling program is in place, but further financing will be required to complete the airborne surveys and any drilling.
