Forsys continues to define Valencia

Results are in from two re-sampled drill holes and one new drill hole at Forsys Metals‘s (FSY-T) Valencia project in Namibia.

Re-sampled drill hole VA26-090, located in the central main zone of the site, intersected two separate zones of uranium. Highlights include: 21.48 metres grading 0.029% U3O8 from 24.02 metres to 45.5 metres — including 0.118% U3O8 over 1.46 metres, and 5.78 metres grading 0.029% U3O8 from 111.88 metres to 117.66 metres.

The second re-sampled drill hole, VA26-103, also intersected two separate zones of uranium mineralization on the northern margin of the deposit. Highlights include: 21.84 metres grading 0.02% U3O8 from 108.89 metres to 130.73 metres, and 7.45 metres grading 0.02% U3O8 from 143.17 metres to 150.62 metres.

The company says the third drill hole, VA26-109, was located on the eastern flank of the main zone and reported several higher grade intervals but at a depth greater than 400 metres. Highlights include: 2.84 metres grading 0.025% U3O8 from 400 metres to 402.84 metres, and 2.37 metres grading 0.033% U3O8 from 406.41 metres to 409.2 metres.

Forsys has now completed 23 diamond drill holes, totaling 6,866 metres at the site and says the diamond drilling program will be completed within the next few days.

The completion of the program will conclude the pre-feasibility phase of verification, infill and exploration stage drilling at Valencia.

Forsys says roughly 40% of the sampled material has been reported while another 30% is en route or currently being analyzed in a South African assay laboratory.

The remaining balance is being sampled at Valencia and will be sent for assay analysis upon completion.

In addition to diamond drilling, Forsys’s reverse circulation drilling program has completed 26 of a scheduled 160 holes. The company says roughly 4 tonnes of samples are en route to a South African assay laboratory.
